Entre Terre et Mer / Between Land and Sea

Cette aquarelle, intitulée "Entre Terre et Mer" a remporté le Prix du Département de la Charente-Maritime au cours du 25è Salon des Arts Plastiques de La Rochelle - FRANCE. Cette exposition s'est déroulée du 7 au 22 mai derniers et a réuni de nombreux artistes qui s'expriment par le biais de techniques variées : aquarelle, huile, acrylique, encre, dessin, sculpture, ...

This watercolour painitng, untitled "Entre Terre et Mer" (Between Land and Sea), won the Prize of the Charente-Maritime Department during the 25th Fine Arts Salon of La Rochelle - FRANCE. I am still thinking that I overworked this piece too much. For a long while, I've been working on larger formats and I didn't take this into account when I began this painting. I have to remind me that point for the next one !

Merci pour ton commentaire et ton avis toujours précieux ! Tu es l'une des rares à avoir remarqué cette silhouette féminine née au gré du hasard de l'aquarelle, là où je n'avais au départ cherché qu'à représenter les rochers.

Ah Catherine, encore un prix bien mérité pour une splendide aquarelle!
Quelle belle lumière qui pare cette plage de couleurs gaies et variées.
J'aime la femme à peine suggérée dans le rocher en avant-plan. Du tout bon Catherine!
