Watercolour International II (Grèce / Greece)

En 2012, j'ai eu le plaisir d'exposer dans le cadre de Watercolour International, plus d'informations à ce sujet ici. Ce projet a vu le jour à l'initiative de trois amis et artistes de talent : George Politis (GR), Andy Wood (GB) et Lorraine Dietrich (CAN). L'exposition a présenté les oeuvres réalisées à l'aquarelle ou autres médiums à l'eau par 25 artistes grecs et internationaux.

Cette année, je rejoins à nouveau la bannière de Watercolour International II. Cette seconde exposition internationale d'aquarelle accueillera des artistes issus du monde entier à Thessalonique, Grèce, en 2014. Elle présentera une quantité impressionnante d'approches, de techniques et de styles picturaux. Suite à un appel à candidatures, 30 artistes seront sélectionnés pour participer à l'événement aux côtés de grands noms du monde de l'aquarelle. L'accent est placé sur la qualité des oeuvres présentées, la créativité des artistes et la versatilité du médium. 

L'exposition se déroulera du 15 septembre au 7 octobre 2014, à la Galerie de la Société des Etudes Macédoniennes de Thessalonique, Grèce.

In 2012, I had the pleasure to be one of the exhibiting artists of Watercolour International, more information about it here. This project was launched by three artists and friends : George Politis (GR), Andy Wood (GB) and Lorraine Dietrich (CAN). The exhibition presented works painted in watercolour or other watermedia by 25 Greek and international artists coming from all around the world.

This year, I will join the invited artists of Watercolour International II. This second International Watercolour exhibition welcomes artists from around the world to Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2014. The exhibition will showcase an extensive range of different painting styles, methods and approaches. From an open call for entries, 30 artists will be selected to participate alongside major names from the world of watercolour. Emphasis is given to the quality of works shown; the creativity of artists and versatility of the medium.

The exhibition will take place from 15 September to 7 October, in the Gallery of the Society of Macedonian Studies, Thessaloniki, Greece.
